Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with friendly staff. While the location is great and the dining experience is enjoyable, there are minor areas for improvement. The facilities are well-maintained, and the price is reasonable.
I was a little bit disappointed with the rooms at this Mantra motel on Cavill Avenue. The room felt very boxed in and small, especially for the price, and we had a family with two children in there. The bathroom had mold in the sink, the carpet to the bathroom was worn, and the bathroom door paint was peeling off. However, the location is great, just a short walk to the beach and entertainment areas.
I absolutely loved the view from my room overlooking the ocean, but noise from neighbors could be a bother. The hotel staff were mostly lovely, although one member was extremely rude. The location was perfect for exploring, just a block away from the beach and close to various attractions. The dining experience needed improvement, especially with the temperature of the food. Overall, my stay had its ups and downs, but I enjoyed the convenience of the location and the beautiful ocean view.
The hotel's location is excellent, near Surfers Paradise beach and close to everything needed. The rooms with 2 queen beds were comfortable but faced noise from a nearby beach club/nightclub. The service, especially Sam the concierge, was super helpful and friendly. The dining experience was up to standard but could be improved. The hotel facilities were satisfactory overall.
The hotel could use a bit of an update, with well-worn beds needing new mattresses. However, I enjoyed the venue atmosphere and music. Some maintenance issues like TV remote and safe lock needed attention.
The hotel offers great views of the beach and ocean, with clean rooms featuring comfortable amenities like two double beds, great pillows, balcony, fridge, and coffee making facilities. Although the TV area had a slight 'stale' smell upon arrival, the quiet ambiance makes for a relaxing stay.
The hotel rooms were nice and spacious, offering a pleasant view of the water and city. However, the partial ocean view should have been clearer in the description to adjust the pricing accordingly.
The hotel is in a good location with easy access to various food places, but experienced some room issues with leaking ceiling and lack of communication. The hotel had a shortage of comfortable pillows.
The hotel rooms were a mixed bag; while they were bigger than expected, the initial smell of cigarette smoke was off-putting and the overall condition was old and dated. The service experience had its highs and lows, with a positive turnaround after maintenance addressed issues the next day. The location had its charms with its proximity to entertainment areas and the beach but lacked some finesse in certain areas. The dining options, though good with a variety to choose from, had slight drawbacks in terms of reheated food and occasional queues. The facilities offered were decent, providing an enjoyable stay overall.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms, with friendly staff, but there are some aspects needing small maintenance. Its location is amazing, close to everything, and the facilities are well-maintained. While service was distractd and disinterested, the dining experience was excellent with a large range of choices.
The hotel's location was perfect for us, just a block away from the beach and close to scooter hire and the tram station. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although in need of renovation with scratches and a musty smell. The service we received was exceptional, with a quick walk to Cavill Avenue. The dining experience was basic, with some disappointments in food temperature. The facilities were good overall.
The hotel surprised me with its large, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet rooms despite the location. However, I did spot a couple of insects and some dust by the bedside lamps. The overall condition of the room was a bit run down, which was not very appealing. On the bright side, the rooms were spacious and not cramped like in some other hotels.
The hotel has a fantastic location, very close to the beach and within walking distance to various attractions and dining spots. The rooms, although in need of bathroom updates, were tired but offered a balcony with a view of the nearby bar, which could be lively during festivals. The service was generally supportive, with a standout team member named Dizel Chan at the breakfast buffet counter. The hotel's central position in Surfers Paradise made it convenient, though some noise could be heard from unused tennis courts in the pool area. The dining experience was mixed, with affordable options but lacking complimentary coffee, and the facilities provided the basics without any standout features.
